I worked alongside Blink as their illustrator from their early days as a start-up, we went through a few revisions of style and explored a lot of paths to arrive at their current isometric style.

As I mentioned in the overview, we went through a lot of iterations of illustration style in the 3 years I worked with Blink. Here are some early explorations and avenues.

After a long while working on Blink illustrations we discussed creating a mascot to represent how Blink were using bots. This character came to be known as Blink Bot and a whole new brand style was born in the process.

As Blink grew so did the brand needs around illustration, as much as we enjoyed the playful, light illustration style myself and the Blink team decided on taking that style into a much more sophisticated direction.
